Used on emergecy equipment. Check your local NAPA or cruise ebay. Just look up emergency blinkers. There are all kinds listed.

It's also possible to do that with a flasher and regular 5 pin relay.

Flashers like that used on school bus warning lights. Probably available at NAPA. Installed kits on a number of police cars & ambulances, but they had a complex relay to over ride flashing to use regular headlights as headlights.

If you are doing this to increase visibility, don't bother. Studies have shown that people become mesmerized by the lights, and they're about as good as nothing.

Notice that all the emergency vehicles these days have random flashing patterns. Even with those they *STILL* get hit because the drivers "didn't see" the emergency vehicle on the side of the road with those blazing lights.

What you want is a Wig-Wag Flasher unit! Same as what is used on Police & other Emergency Vehicles.
