Looking for CMM machine

I am at a point where the shop needs a CMM machine. I have narrowed things down to a Brown & Sharpe 7.10.7 unit for size and capability. Would prefer Renishaw PH10 probe and PC Dimas software.

I have been looking at all the auction sites, Ebay, dealers, you name it. I just keep thinking that there must be someone out there with a good used machine that I can buy directly and skip the markup from a broker.

Any ideas out there?

I don't know that you would get a lot of response from a tractor forum. We have one type of recurring job in our shop that requires us to verify the finished location of twenty points after the parts are formed and machined. We are putting them back into our Mazak milling center, and using the probe we use to set our x y and z starting points to come down and check x,y,and z at each of the locations. Not really a CMM, but doesn't cost like one, either. Of course, we are working off of a tooling ball from first step to last.
