South Bend revisited

I think I found the Lathe I have in a catalog. I will go and pick it up next week. It is about 2 hours from my home. The lathe and all the machines belong to me. I would like to know what to look for as far as attachments etc, when I get there. Everything is in boxes. All of the machines are for sale if anyone is interested. The Do All has a 110/220 motor, that I converted.
Thanks!

Take all the tooling they give you and figure it out later. { chucks ,face plates , taper attachment s, highspeed steel bits, tailstock drill chuck. ]

I had to compress photos

Looks to be some nice old stuff--too bad I don't have room to even set up everything I already have and still have room to work! I passed on a shaper a touch larger than that one a few years ago in excellent working order for basically free because I didn't have the room for it. Where is this located roughly--even the state's enough to give people an idea whether it's worth a closer look?

Good advice already offered. Never used a shaper much so I can't comment on that. The mill cutters should be easy to distinguish. Look for spare arbors for that. Lathe tooling should be simple enough to spot of you have any pictures. Tool post and bit holders are important. Chucks are a big deal. Look for live centers and drill chucks for the tailstock.

DoAll saw might have spare drive wheels and tires. Ask about that stuff.

(quoted from post at 05:35:39 03/25/17) Everything is located in Neptune City, NJ except the band saw, that is in Milford, PA

Amazing; I figured it was someplace where they just found out about credit cards earlier this year. Instead it's the most populous state. Wonder why they closed???
