I NEED A CORDLESS STAPLER

I tried using my arrow T50 stapler. It hurt my hands to squeeze it, I decided I need a cordless one. I have T50 slap hammer, but there are times I need to use a hand one.

What do you have to shoot T50 staples?

I use an Arrow T50DCD for T50 staples, works pretty good and holds a charge for a good amount of time. Cost me 95.00 so wasn't too bad. I looked at a makita, but it was over 800.00 and I could never rationalize spending that on a stapler.....

Steve, I checked them out on ebay, some around $68. Sounds like a cheap fix. I don't use a stapler that ofter, but it hurts to use it. How long does it last on a charge. I see it has a 3.6v Li battery so it should stay charged when not in use. I may keep it in a metal tool box in case it catches on fire. geo

Its not cordless but I have a no name air powered one that I got from menards that shoots T50s. It works rather well.

Did you mean cordless? I have several cordless and I can't squeeze any of them enough to fire a staple any more. I have to use a corded or air stapler.

It has been a while since I shopped for a stapler and didn't know they had battery operated staplers.

Really like our low priced Harbor Freight air powered stapler. Don't use their staples, though, only Arrows.

Like you, I only use it off and on. A charge will last me an hour of pretty constant use, then I plug it in to charge and leave it. Battery hasn't heated up at all so far.

Bought a cheap air-powered stapler from HF many, MANY moons ago, back before I got fed up. The air tools back then - I can't speak highly enough. Can't speak for now.

And that's correct - the stapler runs flawlessly using "normal" staples like Arrow, but jams up a lot using HF staples. Go figure!

I have a Makita battery operated stapler- 18volt I believe. It wasn't cheap but its always the one we grab. Have used it for years for insulation, plastic, etc with no problems. Very powerful and durable!

Rather than a cordless stapler, try out a "Powershot" stapler. Because the handle is backwards from a T50, you can put a lot of weight on the handle and don't have to grip it so hard.

This week I needed to nail down some lauan underlayment. I picked up an air-powered Porter-Cable narrow-crown (1/4") stapler. Made real quick work of that job.

Pushing of squeezing still hurts. I need cordless because I work
in remote places where compressed air and 120v isn't available.
That's why I carry corded and cordless tools. Use cordless more
when I making repairs away from shop. Corded when I have a big
job long enough extension cords or take generator to job.

I HATE PAIN. Can't sleep at night, old body hurts. Refuse to take
addictive drugs too.

The hammer stapler is used just like a hammer. Not only is it not stressful, the blow drives every staple, no bouncing or half-in staples. Not for every job where you have to hold one or more pieces with your fingers...too dangerous, but for tar paper or vinyl wind-stop on the exterior wall, cannot beat it with electric or air hand held staplers...just whack away

I have a lot of Makita cordless tools, mostly 18 V. The 18 V stapler was a little to heavy for my wife to use for her projects so I got this one on ebay and it works for both of us.

It has plenty of driving force plus a adjustable knob for depth
control.
