Stopped in at Lowes and bought the Metal Max. Tried it out this afternoon on a piece of 3/32? sheet metal. It definitely cuts.
Thanks for all the replies.
I had three criteria to grade it on. Sound, control and longevity. I was thinking the sound and control aspects were a result of the flutes in the blade. To my surprise the noise wasn?t too much worse than the regular blades. I was able to control the cut as straight as the regular blade. The directional arrows had me testing the spin a few times before I was certain it was right. The printed surface is on the inside. Will have to wait a while to determine if the number of cuts are worth the extra money. So on a scale of one to ten I give it a seven since two out of three are acceptable.
