Are you inquiring about data (internet) over the cellular network or a WISP (wireless internet service provider)? They are two different critters, but get you to the same end game. A WISP is normally fixed point-to-point and on a microwave frequency which is a different frequency than cellular. A WISP will install an outdoor antenna at you location and there will be a modem or modem/router inside. It will then function the same as a wired ISP. Some WISP will use a mesh network, some will be direct. The people that I know who are on Logonix (Macomb, IL) are happy with their service. There is a new company installing WISP at Carthage, IL.(quoted from post at 08:43:15 03/16/17) just wondering how wireless internet works,,what can be used with this setup, phone, computer etc. thanks
