I bought an old pauoson loader for my DC Case and it needed quite a bit of work. Starting with the mounting brackets were modified from some other tractor and were not done even amd square. So the first thing was to cut apart one so they could be evened out. As you can see by the spread in the braces it had to be raised about 2" to be level with the other side.
Whoever modified these brackets ran a tube back to the axle and braced that up pretty food, but didn't mount either side to the center of the tractor at all so all the weight was carried from the front cultivator mount to the axle. Once I got it up where it belonged I added a cross piece to help carry and to stabilise the brackets so they didn't want to tip side ways. I ran a 2x4x3/16 tube across under the bell housing and attatched it to the brackets with 2x2x1/4 angle. I also added a tie to one of the bell housing bolts to help carry the weight.
