Table lifts/hoists

Having a bad back, I'm always trying to get things that aid in lifting things. I work on small motors, lawn mowers, compressors, lawn tractors. Heavy duty lifting is not required, but do need to lift things from garage floor level to table or workbench, pickup, trailer. Need to lift up to 200 pounds. Would like things portable/moveable. Any input is welcomed!!

Handiest thing in my shop is the small electric chain house on a jib mounted to the corner of my large welding bench.

Snowmobiling in Quebec last winter we needed to put sleds into two different dealers for repairs. they both had the same scissors lift that lifted to at least five feet. The also had an electric chain hoist from above to take the weight off the suspension of the sled on the lift.

I built my own last winter and use it more than I thought I ever would. It is 7 inches from the ground when all of the way down, and over 4 feet when all of the way up. It will lift 600 lbs, probabaly more. It it big enough to lift my 4 wheeler, and uses a air over hydraulic engine hoist cylinder. It has locks under the top but I do not have pictures of that. I looked at some motorcycle lifts but they did not go very high. I spent under 350 bucks and several days of time.

i use the harbor freight lift table,it will lift 1200 with ease, liked it so much I bought another.i use it as a workbench, its perfect height when sitting, play cards on it,danceing table, one of the best tools I own

DelMN, I was given this bench quite a few years ago, built ramps for it, put 5" casters on it and mounted a winch on the opposite end to pull the heavy things up. It's not pretty, but very mobile, even with a load on it. I do like chadsd's though.

Fabulous!! My boys bought me a lift table I think from Farm and Fleet. I use it a lot. It works great to remove a front end from a JD 10 and 20 series. Paul
