Windows 10 question

I have an HP laptop running Windows 10. I have done EVERYTHING I can to disable the stupid zoom/magnifier on the touch pad. I've restarted and reset it to no avail, and I've used every suggestion in the help menu. Does anyone know how to fix this thing so that if I accidentally tough the pad with a finger and thumb I don't suddenly have a tiny or huge view of the screen?

There are so many different updates and levels this is how I do mine. Click on the small windows symbol far bottom left of screen when you get the arrow over it then it will turn blue click it. A small screen should pop up Click on settings on mine second one up. Click on mouse & touchpad now were it says touchpad change it to medium delay Hope it helps this is how mine works

that is an option on the touch pad and you will need the correct driver to allow you to disable that feature. Check to see if the maker of the laptop has a "full" feature driver that will allow this. Some have simplied disabled the pad and used a mouse instead. Others have been able to make changes in the cmos or setup mode to the mouse funtion. but is usually a driver function... Lots of drivers for windows 10 are the abbreviated drivers without the full feature set. Again, a problem with the maker not updating the driver correctly for the new os systems.. No money in updating older products.
