small volume oil pump?

Off topic for here but leaning on the many smart minds,,, I need to transfer used motor oil from storage containers located outside of my shop to my inside "day" tank located under my waste oil burning furnace. I would be pumping through a relatively coarse filter head, 30 micron and dont want to be lifting the by pass valve in the filter head. It is also important to not stir up the day tank with fast fill rates. Thus my needs are for around 1 GPM maybe 2 at the most. My initial attempts were with gravity flows and they were barely OK until it got cold out. There is very little head or pressure to worry about, just a 5 foot lift and less than 20 feet total line. I have been looking for a while for a suitable pump and finding nothing. I can fabricate and assemble with a motor but the pump itself has me drawing blanks. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks in advance.

I picked up a furnace oil burner I gutted the actual burner part and just use the motor frame and pump. I used it for filling the Wagner loader on my 2n because the fill was to high to hold up a 5 Ga. bucket of oil. I just let it sit on top of the bucket with a hose going down thru the cover and another for the bleeder and a long hose to transfer the oil. I don't know the actual gpm but it isn't much but will build pressure if blocked so you need to be careful of that definitely no shutoff in that line.

Variable speed drill running pumps, would allow you to use a larger pump at a slower speed, to accomlish your goal. The trigger could be tied with a zip tie, to hold the speed right while in use.

Any little gear pump, driven with a small motor.

You will need to protect it from any hard debris entering it, a Y strainer would do. Mount everything below the oil level, but off the bottom to avoid water and sediment.

A pump like this would work.

Helped a buddy installed a waste oil furnace and we set up a air diaphragm pump to transfer oil from outside the building to the inside day tank, it's worked really well for the past sevens years.
We set the day tank up about a foot off the floor with a drain valve so that from time to time he can slide a drain pan under the valve to remove any unwanted water or other fluids that have gotten into the tank.
