I talked to my Aunt who used to repair tarps for truckrrs. Ask is she still has the sewing machine. Said has two, they are broken and rusty. She doesn't want to sell them for semental reasons. I told her is she ever wants go sell the to let me know. Going to keep in touch with here daughter. I would think this would really be a rare machine to have. Years ago Aunt let me make a few things with it. Hope I get it some day.

Back when I worked at Tracker Marine in Lebanon MO I had the fun of having to repair the sewing machines they used. I quickly learned to hate working on them but I was also the only one in the maintenance dept that could work on them and get them working again.

I have an old singer model 66, I put a larger motor on it and it does a good job on canvas and straps ect. It only does one stitch though called a lock stitch the only adj. is how many stitches per inch. once sewed together you don't want to try to take whatever you sewed apart though.

I'm goint to talk to her son to let him know if she ever passes, I want to buy the machines. She is my last living Aunt on my Dad's side. Not too many cousins left on Dad's side either. I used that machine 45 years ago and still wish I had one just like it.
