I found a youtube video that might be of help to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fd-iR1WVLko

In looking at images of the bearing/hub assembly you might try what I did. Similar concept, different car. Get a scrap brake rotor and affix it backward to the hub and beat the rotor from the back side with a big sledge. It's a huge pain particularly here in MI. Best of luck to you.

Have you got a torch ? We used to heat them almost red and douse them with cold water, they would almost fall off. We also had good luck with a pneumatic chisel that we placed on the edge and hammered away with that until the housing came loose, penetrating oil overnight, hammer on it...like the idea of an old rotor backwards that you can get a good clout at.

They're called "unit bearings" and like others have said they can be a bear to remove especially in the rust belt.

You need to hit harder, or use a bigger hammer. Also try twisting the bearing flange in what would be considered the "knuckle" on the front end of the vehicle.

Thank you fellas--used chilidog's idea and possum juice and used the BFH AND it finally came off--did a lot of hammer use before and last night, but the old rotor did the trick. Thank you all for taking the time to give me answers. Very much appreciated. len
