On a serious note (yeah, I know everyone hates it when someone gets serious...)

Klein tools started marking their "adjustable wrenches" several years ago with SAE markings on one side, and Metric on the other. The hype (no kidding here) was that the new combination wrench was more versatile. I suppose they thought everyone had two, one SAE and one Metric.

It's missing the thin part of the handle that you pry with. I have an old 8" adjustable wrench that has a 9/16 hexadecimal hole in the end of the handle where most of them have a round hole to hang it with.

Left hand ones came in Ackerman tool kits, the thumb screw turns opposite way to open and close, a pain to get used to!

Maybe I need a left hander, it seems I always go the wrong
direction first.

IIRC from an about the 1960's Popular Mechanics an item of a major aircraft engine manufacturer speeding production by having left handed ones available.

My thought is that if an aircraft engine manufacturer was using nut f#^1ers then walking got a sudden attraction

But these ARE Hammers . . . Specifically designed for the Mining Industry to be used for hammering when a "real" hammer is not available.

LOL

NO,NO, you don't beat it in with the rifle. You put the nail head into the Muzzle; put the Muzzle against the work-piece; and pull the Trigger. Let the projectile drive the nail. It even counter-sinks it for you. LOL

Yea, and that's a great one for the new apprentices. Ask them for a metric or standard cresent wrench depending upon witch side up they hand you.
