If you were George, and had 3 hands, that Dewalt drill would be hooked via a flex cable to drive the wheel on that wheel barrow. HeHe.
I go thru that much wood in my central boiler each day to heat my house and shop.

And I thought I was the only boob who does that.....:)

I even have a ramp to wheel it to the front porch. Wish I could make it thru the doorway

Those work good for that...we also use shopping carts, harder to push through snow but does the job. Since we got one of those big outdoor units, we don't go through as much short "stove wood" length anymore.

For that big thing then we have spreader trailers(about 1-1 1/2 chord each), and make shift cribs(about a quarter chord) then just use the tractor to shuffle. On real cold days(20 and below) 3-4 wheel barrow loads a day keeps it fed.

I do the same thing. Been using the same wheelburrow for 38 years. That looks just like one of my loads. We burn a load about every 2 days.

Hello farmallstrong,

That old thing has many braces and still wables pretty good. The no flat tire is skinny though hard to balance but not impossible. Probably bought it in the seventies? I can't recall,

Guido.

That's better than a membership to the local fitness center. Weight lifting, cardio-vascular, upper and lower body resistance work out. Some people pay big money to get all of that. It keeps ya young. lol gobble

I used a wheel barrel like that for a cple yrs, never could stack it that good.
Took 2 loads for a bit more than a days worth.
This yr I picked up this wheel barrel with a busted bucket and built the new platform for it.
Can get two days worth on it now.
What you see on it in the pic is about a 1/2 load.

Guido,
I see a dewalt drill. Does this qualify as a cordless wood moving tool?

If I tried using a wheel borrow, my back would start hurting instantly. Disks in L4 & L5 are shot. The weight would push on my spine and pinch nerves. My back problems the reasons I bought a 1/4 yard self dumping motorized wheel borrow, a Terramite. Haven't used wheel borrow since. Sits in garden shed.
Have a Merry Christmas.

Hello Stephen Newell,

It also needs a balancing act! About 4 decades of practice,

Guido.

Hello Geo-TH,In,

More like a motorless tool. Drill used to remove cover fasteners. 3 cell fix it 2.4 ah, S4 S5 for my back.
Mostly good or I would not be able to lug that thing around! Have a Merry Christmas!

Guido.

Hello blue water massey,

Nice job! Mine is about shot, you gave me an idea now....

Guido.

Hello tomturkey,

My yard is my spa, 3 years of wood under cover. A dozen trees last cutting. Will split next year. Probably two years worth for me. MERRY CHRISTMAS,

Guido.

We maybe wouldn't use as much, but have the house, shop and part of the greenhouse heated...none are completely sealed(lots wasted). then add the extra cold from Lake Mich. and the heat is gone...At least most of our wood is free. We burn anything(pallets, demo material, furniture...) and people just drop it off (over getting a permit to burn on pile or pay to drop at landfill).

Hello Cory Schmidt,

Like I said you are A BTO( bit time operator) compared to me, definatly a good set up supply and all. Merry Christmas,

Guido.

It certainly takes practice. When still on the (fruit)farm, my father and I used to push flat top wheelbarrows, loaded with 500 pounds worth of pear boxes on turf in our orchard. We did NOT need a gym 😉
