I found these in a can with some rotary files and drill bits. I've never seen these before. It says Craftsman on them. 3/8, 1/2, 5/8 Any ideas??

I believe they are plug cutting bits for hiding hardware in woodwork.

They are plug cutters. Put them in a drill or drill press and cut wooden plugs for woodworking.

Straight plug cutters. Need to run in a drill press at slow speeds. I have a set and are used from time to time. Allows you to cut screw plugs from the your scraps to get a good color match. Just remember to align the grain as you insert them into the holes to avoid drawing your eye.

they work better if you don't cut all the way through. Make your plugs in some thick stock, then run the thick stock through a table say to get the right length you want.
