Another gear oil question

Our local Orschlens farm store is closing and while I was bargain shopping (go about every other day)they had 85w-90 on sale for about $40 a bucket. I am in need of some so I bought the pail. Its mystic brand and the stuff is red. Anyone anything about the stuff?

The brand is not important. It's the specification.

As long as the oil is rated for the application, it will be fine.

Mystic puts out some pretty good lubricants - I know more than a few people claim the additive package in their Hytran "compatible" oil is actually better than Hytran. Without a any specs I can't comment on what you bought.

Mystic is good stuff. The "GL" number on the bucket determines what you can use it in GL 1-5

Yep I work about a half mile from there. Go there every few days looking for bargains.
