How to cut eaves spouting?

Ran over the end of a couple of eaves spouting used to get roof water away from the house. Is there a technique or tool to cut this fragile, thin metal? Leo

I just had gutters put on the house. The guys just took a hacksaw and ripped through 3 sides of it and then bent it back and forth til the last side broke. I believe they started on the side with the seam and broke the long side without. Then they took their snips and trimmed a bit off all the way around to clean the edge up.

If you are proficient with a radial arm saw that works! If your not you might cut off some fingers. That's how I did mine, and I still have all my fingers. You
do have to trim them just a little with snips to get rid of the burrs.

I have a set of hand nibblers , it removes a 1/4 inch section when you cut. Have had them about 30 years. Just another tool of the trade for me.

I just use an angle grinder with a .45 cutoff wheel. You need good aim
but make a nice square cut. Did two new ones about a month ago., I
need to fix a loose gutter tomorrow.

10" miter saw with a fine tooth/plywood blade. And eye protection.

QUICK, easy, and accurate, and no issues.

Ditto on the angle grinder. It's my "go-to" tool for just about all of my metal cutting these days.

I install gutters all the time and use my cordless skill saw just turn the
blade around backwards. Quick cut then if you want to clean it up use the
aviation snips for a trim.
