But,,there is something very special about these tools

A 93 year old lady uses these tools and carrys buckets of coal to her stove. She doesnt want help, she does some each day.

I think she is on to something. I carried concrete blocks for over a month this summer. I have not felt so good in years. I was scheduled to go to an orthopedist and be checked for rotator cuff issues, but the pain vanished after a week of carrying block. Hoisting those things up and laying them down gently on the mortar bed worked out a lot of muscles. I canceled the doc.

Need to take a train load of the students who are walking out of our high schools in protest and make their lazy butts sit and watch her,,, hopefully in a cold drizzle,,, God bless her.

Was an old fellow around here did that too. Black lung finally got him from handling the coal.

Not sure about bulk coal, but tractor supply here in NY sell bags of rice and nut coal I think it is, my friends dad burns coal. We also have a feed store/ gas station that sells it. I bought a bag 2 years ago to see if I could burn it in my wood boiler, dident work to well! Lol

Looks like that sieve is used to let the small chunks of coal fall thru so she can sort out the larger chunks to burn.

I go to tractor supply often and perhaps I missed it but I don't think they sell coal in my area.

I use a wood stove and would like to burn chunk coal at night because I think it would burn longer than wood. Sometimes the house gets very cold before morning when we can get the stove going again.
