I got the dump hinge area all on the body and holes in the chassis for the hinge pins. Also took time yesterday when it was still somewhat warm and not raining to spray paint the chassis.
It has dried off enough so I can get back at my new water line project this afternoon.

Loren how do you weld NEW steel---I have to grind off the paint and rust before I can weld it??---Tee

Just a quick question. Do you spray in the shop or do you use something so it dry's fast outside? Just wondering what paint (hardener?)and what Ratio you mix it. Is there a fisheye additive you use as well. Seem like I've heard a lot of folks paint enamel and it takes forever to dry. I've never sprayed much enamel. lacquer and acrylic enamel, polyurethane enamel yea 40 year ago. Enamel doesn't seem to be terribly expensive Id like to paint the Sc
appreciate any insight

Tee, It was a different experience not haveing to grind off the rust, but there was still enough used iron there so the shock wasn't that bad.

Like Big Teem I have a CBS spray booth. Temp in it was about 53F when I painted the chasis. I mix the paint on the thick side so it doesn't run in weather like this. Squirted it on and rolled the chasis back into shop to dry. I use CNH paints. No primer or hardener for projects like this. I have never seen signs of primer on most implements.
