Replacing gaskets/seals in 1954 Jubilee Lift

I am replacing all gaskets, seals, new lift cylinder on a 1954 Jubliee. Here's the issue that I need help with.
All pictures and videos that I've seen have bolts through the lift plate to lift pump, but mine has dual threaded bolts through cover to pump. I can't get piston out because of long pin on Lift/PTO control springs mechanical arms. Any advice on getting piston out or removing cylinder is appreciated. Here's two pictures...
Thanks.

#1 a Jubilee is a 1953 and the 1954 is an NAA almost the smae machine but not 100% the same.

As for getting the piston out that is simple as an air nozzle and blowing air in the cylinder. BTDT many many times

I'm in the middle of rebuilding the lift on my 3000. Pretty sure you can't get the piston out without removing the cylinder. The cylinder has to be removed before you can remove all the linkage. Besides the hole you need to blow air in is hidden with the cylinder installed on the cover.
