Sunnen tools

Has anyone heard of a tool company called Sunnen products out of St. Louis Mo. That made tourque wrenches and honing tools ? Last summer I bought a cardboard box full of old tools at a farm auction and never got around to seeing what was really in it till yesterday. There was a tourque wrench in it that appeared to have a lot of age on it like no other over ever seen . It looks like something out of the 50's or 60's.

Sunnen made a lot of engine rebuilding machine tools, hones, rod strightners,& boring bars! Good stuff.

Old Sarge is correct, the company is considered to be a premium manufacturer. I have several hones and ridge reamers. Jim

(quoted from post at 03:36:19 10/31/16) I also have one of their ridge reamers going back over 45 years.

They made a variety of engine analyzers also with the voltmeter, tach ,vacuum etc

Sunnen made a lot of frontend alignment tools, I have a 1/2" drive torque wrench that is still in good condition.

We used SUNNEN HONES to true the power Cylinders on several CLARK ENGINES (9000 HP at 322 RPM) and Ingersoll Rand Engines.

Sunnen made a CADILLAC of tools:
