Had to lift the motor a little and swing it out of the way to replace leaky transmission seal.

Then I discovered the source of intense vibrations, a defective u joint.

I hate it when YT rotates pics posted on smart phone.

YT doesn't rotate them per say, you did that when you took the picture and this information is tagged into the picture for future use. YT's issue is that it doesn't use that information to flip it back right way round.

When you take pictures with your smartphone hold it with the bottom of the phone in your right hand, top in the left for the orientation to be correct.

Geo,

Is that a chain fall with two different sized wheels? I thought the person who figured that out was a genius. It's stupid simple and rugged tough.

We had a guy throw one in the dumpster, turns out it didn't have the required "brake" inspection. It's now in proper hands.

D.

Yeah. At first I thought gravity worked different where you are at.

Your intense vibrations may have contributed to the seal failure.

The pic on phone is ok, then YT flips it. Go
figure. I put pic on my computer, same as
phone, No flipping.

I check, this pic was taken the way you
describe. Normally Yt rotates pics to the
right. This pic got rotated to the left. Go
figure.

I'll bet that you mean per se. :)

The cause of the U joint failure a result of how the grease zikr is installed. Notice the zikr is installed on the end of the U joint. Normally the Zikr is part of the Joint. The factory capped off that point. Well the cap was missing, so dirt got in, plugged off the flow of grease.

Replaced U joint and oil seal on tranny. All is well, no more intense vibrations. Glad other damage didn't occur because of the vibrations.
