Can you guys point me in the right direction for a good porta power manufacturer want a good solid one that will last for years.
Is Blackhawk any good?

Blackhawk is a good unit. They make frame equipment for body shops.

I would look at Enerpac/ Power Team, Simplex. Blackhawk is now Shinfoo. They bought out Walker,Hein-Werner,Blackhawk. It was under Lincoln for a while

Bought this brand 20 years ago at a local parts store. Store's no longer but the tool still works.

35 years ago I bought the cheapest 4 ton I could find. Still work find. Just don't lend it to anyone. A seemingly minor parts become important when lost.

I have a 10 ton Blackhawk from Northern Tool and I really like it. Some of the attachements aren't really rated at 10 tons, though, even the main ram is only rated for lower loads if all the extensions are used.

I also have a Chinese copy from one of those traveling tool sales at work -to straighten lawnmower decks- and it has worked well so far.

The Blackhawks at Northern look identical to the cheap ones from Harbor Freight.
