grinding wheels

Who make high speed grinding wheels that will work in my dewalt electric die grinder ? Forney says there are only good for 3500rpm, trying to weld up egged out holes and grind them round again in 3/4 thick steel. I tried carbide burrs but too hard to get a round hole by hand.Looking for larger sizes like 1 inch or 1 1/2

Enco has hundreds of different sizes and styles of mounted points, depending on what you're looking for. If the link doesn't go where you want it, look on P228 and the vicinity in their main catalog. I'd bet that MSC, their parent company, has many more as well.

Try McMaster Carr, they have everything. And you often get it the next day, never had it take longer than second day.

Go to Lowes or Home Depot and buy grinding wheels for Dremmel

I have repaired egged out holes in 1/2" steel by partially flattening out a piece of black pipe so it fits the egged out hole, welding it in place, and then drilling the hole back out to 3/4". Grind it all smooth, paint it, and it looks original.
