What do you guys use that puts out a lot of air? I want to get 1 that has a lot of volume. I have 1 with a cord now but will probably go cordless next. I am not shopping for the cheapest. I have 40+ beehives and need it to blow the bees out of the honey supers when removing the honey. The old Black and Decker doesn't cut it for that

I have a 20 volt cordless Dewalt & love it. I don't know about blowing bees but it will blow gravel across the alley. I bought mine at Bomgars & they let me demo it in the parking lot before I bought it.

Check around; I think Lowes has a new Kobalt cordless that is high powered. HD might also have something similar.

We had a Toro electric that was too powerful, turned down to minimum would still blow the crushed rocks around when I tried to blow leaves. Sent the Toro up to my nephew to blow the dust and chaff off of his equipment. Bought a small Homelite that is half the weight and has adequate blowing power for our needs.

I just got a string trimmer, and a leaf blower from HD..$120 free shipping, online. It's a 40 volt.Ryobi.

I have an m18 Milwaukee that puts out a lot of air. I have all m18 tools so that helped my decision. I keep it with me in harvest to blow off the combine every night.

Local bee keeper uses a small Honda generator , extension cord & a dark green blower. I don't know the brand but it works good for him.

Fellows I don't want to suck them up, just blow them out on the ground, Yes a fume board works for us until I get a cool cloudy day. Blowing them out doesn't seem to do too much damage. Within a few minutes they are all flying back to the hive they come from.

Hello hd6gtom,

Get a backpack blower, and spend a few hundred dollars for a good one, throttle will controll output. All the air you need. I have a Stihl br380, it works for me......

I think mine is a Black and Decker or a Toro. Red and black. Just went to HD and found one; not pricy. Really blows a mean blast of air. I have a DR tow behind leaf vac but don't feel like dragging the hose all over the flower beds and outdoor cook/eat area and all so I blow leaves into a pile with the blower and suck up the pile with the vac. Works great.

I got a new DR vac this year made to work behind a ZT, or hand wand, and a quick tilt to dump. Dump site is quite a ways from the pickup site. So this year the plan is to pick up the leaves with the new one and dump into a pile by my manure spreader. Use the old vac along side the spreader to suck up the pile and dump into the spreader and then take it out to the hay patch and spread 'em out. Beats wasting in an unused mulch pile and fewer trips out to the dump site.

Anyone recommending a two-stroke blower backpack style is forgetting how bad your clothes stink when you are done blowing. The smell will get to you.
