OT: Good, simple online calender

This is really a far stretch from being about tools, but I trust the judgment of many responders on this site, so it's sometimes faster and more useful to ask a question here than to try to make sense of multiple conflicting opinions from unknown online sources. My question is, does anyone have an uncomplicated online appointment calendar to recommend? I've tried unsuccessfully several times to use MS Outlook's calendar, but find it to have bells and whistles that don't do me any good, and make it needlessly difficult to use---in my opinion.

Yes, I would like that too but also be able to have it on cell phone and be able to sync. them.

thunderbird has an add-on that provides an appointment calendar.
 
I use Outlook's calendar, and that's ALL I use. I just click on "Outlook" on my Start menu, click on "Calendar", and I'm there.

You don't have to complicate it be going into all of Outlook's other stuff.
