This was the free gift,,dont think I would use it much,,might give the multi meter to my friend Jim G,,

I keep a VOM in my car that way when I get a call to go some place to fix a tractor I have it handy. I do not use it a lot but sure beats not having it when you need it

they are a handy little toolbox meter. work reasonably well, if they break you are not out much. I have one
but also have a better meter also. used to have a fluke meter but it quit. it was several years old at the
time.

Digital multimeter is fairly useless. Too much lag time between applying the leads and getting a reading. Give me the little cheapo analogs, please.

Funny I have been using a digital VOM for decades and never had any problem with lag time. Only time that may happen is if your using it in place of what should be a test light or dwell meter or other such thing. A VOM is not made to be used to see if the point are working and other such fast on and off type circuits.

I had one, found it to be terribly inaccurate, over two volts off at 12v and nearly 15 at 120v compared to my two flukes

on the air grease gun, check the operating pressure. i had a real nice snap on air grease gun i brought to the shop, it runs on 90 psi, and i always use a regulator on it. one of the yachtzees here borrowed it and used it on our line pressure, 175 psi. blew the top right off the gun. grrrrrrrr.

I had gotten 2 of them and they are so bad I will not even carry one home. I only use the free coupon for the tape measure, screw drivers ot flashlights. Probably have gotten 20 of the tape measures, passed most to a friend. dozen of the flashlights as well.

Went to a parts store a few years ago, parts man tried to sell me a pneumatic grease gun. I told him that seemed kind of extravagant because I only had 1 zerk to grease.

I have 2 (or is it 3) expensive meters, but mostly I just grab an el cheapo laying around rather than unlock the tool cabinet where the expensive meters are stored.

Got a few of those free meters, handy to throw in a glove box for some quick checks on a car, but I don't know that I'd trust 'em for much else.

The nine volt battery in those meters is not bad. I needed one in a pinch and broke the meter open to get it and found that the battery lasted a long time.

Those air guns are the bee's knees. I go through
two tubes of grease on the combine in a service
and they really keep my ruined hands from getting
tired. I have one that never misses a beat when you
switch tubes. The other you have to crack the
grease hose at the gun and pump once. Then she's
primed. You will not be disappointed.
