Old Exide battery charger info. needed

I've had this old charger since about early 80's. The right dial is to set for 6-12-or24v and charge rate. The numbers have been long gone so I use a multi-meter to check my charge volts for rate of charge. I was hoping someone might have one like it and could send me photo of what should be printed there. I know this photo is poor because so much of the printing is gone but MAYBE someone knows something. I would think this charger was made by some charger manufacturer and put Exide's name on it. So if you have one that looks like it with another name it would probably work.

That looks like one I got from my brother. It is white in the center section and green
on the sides, cant remember the name on it. The decal on it is gone as well. If I
remember correctly on mine, the right dial is 6V Low-Med-High then 12V Low-Med-High. I
dont have the 24D as far as I know. I will have to look at mine again. My timer doesnt
work but it at least charges.

MY dial turned all the way cw and counting that as 1 I have 11 clicks going all the way ccw. If yours isn't a 24v charger then you wouldn't have that many positions to click.

I tried them this morning and without a model# they can't help at all.

??? I thought the M6-12-24d was the model # ??

I did too but she said it wasn't. She said model # would start,I think , with a 7 or 70.

Well If you are willing, you may find a model number on the inside of the unit, if you were to open the cover.....

I dissembled it to paint it and replace the amp meter. There were no #'s on it anywhere other than the badly faded #'s in the photo. I called several places today and found that Exide battery chargers has been sold several times and finally belongs to Exide again. I talked to one guy that worked for the original Exide who knew exactly what I had. He said there was no info. going back that far, as far as he knows.

I think my only hoe is that somone has one like it that can still read the dial #'s and can send them to me.

Are they both multi-position switches or is on a timer?

How many detent positions does the left switch or timer have?

How many detent positions does the right switch or timer have?

The left one is timer and has no detents, it winds kinda like a timer for the kitchen.

The right one is where you set the voltage and charge rate. It has 11 detents including the very end ones.

sure start charger

That photo of the second and third one is exactly how mine looks except for that one is M-110D. It is a 6-12v charger. Mine is a 6-12-24v charger
