Age of Chicago Morgan 160 Vice

Curious when this vice was made. My wife's grandpa picked it up
used decades ago.

Don't know the age , but I have a Morgan -Chicago 135 , and it's a beast . Yours looks to be higher capacity model...
 
If anyone has a better idea I'll happily listen to it, but I believe the original Morgan vises were made in Chicago starting in around 1929, and the company moved to Aurora in around 1947, which would put your vise somewhere in that time frame.
 

I'd suggest that you ask the folks on Garage Journal, in the "tools" section. There is a thread there that goes for pages and pages regarding vises. They helped me with my C. Parker #39.

If those guys can't find the answer, it can't be found. BTW, looks like a really nice piece of equipment. Especially cool regarding its history in your family.
