Small engine, Subaru

I've had this Subaru engine from Small Engine Warehouse for about 3 years and have been well satisfied with it on my woodsplitter. It always starts easily including in cold weather. However during this time when it was idling it would shut off, like the switch was turned off. I didn't think much about it until lately, it shuts off at operating speed, again like the ignition was cut off. But it starts again the first pull and runs for a while, then stops. Any ideas what's causing this? BTW it's raining when I took the pictures.

if the low oil wire disconnected doesn't solve your problem trace the wire from your hut off switch back to the coil it may be pinched and shorting or your switch may be bad and the vibration could be causing it to shut down
