For years I used NAPA 5005 hand cleaner. Bought a dispenser to hang on the wall. One of those where you take the top off the plastic continer, invert it into the dispenser and then it always worked best to cut bottom out of the container so the stuff would feed evenly.
Well, NAPA or somebody got smart, what they sell as 5005 now is not the same recipe. Probably decided to let the Chinese make it cheaper, even though this can cost about $2 more than the last one. Way too runny. Its NO fun at all to lose 1/2 the can on the floor when filling the NAPA dispenser. The old stuff was thick enough not to do that. And it doesn't clean as well as the old 5005 did either.
So, What do you guys use? I stayed away from the gritty stuff because it was hard on the dispenser mechamisim. Does anyone know why made the old stuff and what brand it actually was?
Thanks!
