Hello,

This blue ray player has a WiFi built in, with many apps. Internet on my old TV.............. Who Knew!

That's a fairly common feature on a lot of newer Blu-ray players. I have a Sony and used it all the time to watch YouTube on my family room TV. Worked great for about 1 1/2 years and then recently I went to watch a video and a message popped up "Google no longer supports this application".

Be sure to test out your player to ensure it is supported by the various on-line streaming services.

I have typically purchased Samsung since that is the same make as my TVs. The remotes are similar and one does most of the stuff for both player and TV. The key is getting the smart player. Yep, it does Wifi and all the other good things. The only lacking thing is not being able to program KODI into the unit. With KODI, you can load lists and lists of various movies and programming.

Be sure you go to the settings area at regular intervals and update the firmware on the unit. That can often help or visit their website and see if they have a solution to your problem.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunately my USA version player does not have the "white" YouTube application.

Hello oldfarmtractor,

Why are you telling me to update the software on my unit? It works just fine!
