Have decided to move rear wheels out to their max. width. Does anyone have any tips or tricks that would make the job easier?
Thank you in advance.

Loosen the clamps just enough to say they are loss then drive it a bit to free them up. Then jack one side up and if you have it use a scissor jack to push the center out. I have done more then one that way or if moving them in I use a com-a-long to pull them in. You can also use the com-a-long trick if you have a tree or other such thing to use as an anchor and then you can slide them out

At one time you could buy a strip of metal with steel balls in it that you laid in the key way, after you turned the wheel/axel so the key way was on top after the block was loosened. Then jack tractor up and you were supposed to be able to push/ pull the wheel where you wanted it.

On my C, I would park it side ways on a hill, jack tractor up loosen wheel, then slowly let tractor down then back up. wheel would fall in or out an inch or so each time.

Park it with one wheel on a couple of 2x boards so when the other wheel is jacked up off the ground the tractor is just slightly tilted toward the jacked up wheel. Loosen the downhill clamps and rock the wheel back and forth, it'll walk out the axle by itself.
