Since there seems to be a few compressor posts lately, I thought I would put these up. This was originally owned by my Great grandfather. I suspect it is WWII vintage. It has not run much as I was told it never ran very well. Got it running last night, now if I can get the carburetor to quit flooding and running out of gas at the same time I will be all set.

That is a neat rig, I've never seen one like it. I have a PORTA-AIR, it has a v6 Buick engine that employs a special head on the right bank, the left bank powers the machine.

It sure looks like an early Briggs and Stratton. What does the other tag on the engine cylinder cover say?
it definately looks like a Briggs and Stratton carburetor on it, so that might be a source for a carburetor needle and/or seat if you need it.

Its a Briggs ZZ. I actually stumbled across a spare carb that had new parts inside. Needs a bit of tinkering yet, but I will get it going. It pumps right up. I need to look at it closely to see if I could rig some sort of unloader/idle setup. Right now it just goes over relief when the tank is full.
