CYLINDER FOR AN ALLMOND TLB 25D

I have an old Allmond TLB 25D backhoe. We operate a rental company and a customer bent the cylinder. We can get one built, it seems, but its horribly expensive.
the part number for the cylinder is 92L007.

So my question is, does anybody have one, or know where old parts might be found?

anyone wanna buy it instead ;)

Thanks in advance

Someone on YT gave me this link. I've never bought from them. Please let me know if they have good deals or they are still in business.

The Allmond TLB is very rare in my neighborhood, I've only seen one in Terre Haute, In. at a DIY rental. What's your opinion of them? Is there a dealer that sells them or do you buy them directly from the factory? I wouldn't want a diesel model because I can't stand the smell of diesel. So how are the gas models? engine hp? Which cylinder did they bend, how?

Thanks for the link, will look into it. The almond TLB has been very good to us, but it's discontinued and it was here 15 years before me. We are a commercial rental company, so it's had a lot of hard use, but it's stood up to it all for around 20 years. The backhoe controls are not well liked, and there is not a switch to change them, but otherwise it had been a very decent unit. I hope we can find the part to make it work, as I would rather sell a functioning machine rather than have it sit in the back yard until we scrap it.

Google Allmand, with an 'A',
their still in business making light towers
and heaters. They have parts manuals online,
a phone call would see if they still have parts.
A lot of parts were off the shelf items.

I really don't know that much about the almond. If they went out of business, I guess I'll keep what I have.

I wish someone would make a small TLB, gas with a cab, heat and A/C. geo.

Well first off the Allmand Company is still in business. So you can contact them for parts. Allmand built the traction unit and loader. The backhoe was built by Bradco Company of Delhi, Iowa. They are still in Delhi which is about 20 miles from me. I would call them too. 563-922-2527

If the chromed "shaft"/rod is all that's damaged, a local hydraulic shop or machine shop can make a new one out of chromed shafting.

Shop around for the best price.

thanks, but we have done that, our unit is out of production and allmond does not stock this part anymore.....or as they put it...for years.

yesh thsts where we are right now, around $1200 for a new one. found this forum looking for "better" ideas, as our plan is to sell the unit once we get it operational.

Maybe they will as the diesels with the EPA regs. are increasing the costs of engines and the design of the equipment to find a place to hang all the extra gadgets. Gas engines are coming back. We make gas chippers here at work using the V6 and 4 cyl. GM engines and they are selling. The Ventracs a few years back quit putting the 31hp diesel in their mowers because of regs. Kubota came out with an LP gas powered zero turn.

MikeM,

I would love to have a heated and air conditioned cab on a gasser to replace my Farmall C, Jubilee and Terramite T5C. I really don't care about the cost. So if you find something, keep me in mind. geo.
