Do the rear wheel bearings (full floating) require periodic repacking, or do they receive lubrication from the differential?
Thanks for any replies.

Lubed from the dif but do make sure that the dif is full as they just barely get oil sloshed out to them

Thank you gentlemen for your replies.
I became confused as my HAYNES manual says to pack them with high temp grease before installation. Perhaps that may be of benefit if everything was new and dry.

They need grease or oil on assembly as the bearing needs a bit of lube till a few corners slosh the oil to the sides

Yes put some grease on them, they may go around a lot before oil gets worked into them.

I'll park mine on a 4X6 block overnight on one side, then switch sides the next night. I'll do that every 6 months or so. I just like to make sure there is oil in there. Or if I'm cutting wood on a side hill, I'll park so the oil will run one way, then when I move it, I'll park the other way. I figure small stuff like that can't hurt.
