Another "What is it?" I found this in a box of stuff I bought at an auction sale. I have no idea what it is. Do to inflation, I used a dollar bill for size reference rather than a dime. Thanks for your help.

It's beautiful! I wonder if it's an ornate "footed" lipstick holder for on a woman's vanity (a small make up dresser)?

I don't think it's a candle holder since the holes go all the way through.

Oops, forgot the picture...

This photo is an ornate lipstick holder I found on Ebay.

I think they were just to hold the tubes on-end so they couldn't roll off the edge of the vanity.
