MF3165 industrial tractor connecting rod crankshaft problem

On the average, how many hours does it take to change the connecting rod of the fourth cylinder and the crankcase (on MF3165 with a cab)?

Ask on the MF forum. Engine has to come out to get the crank out & head has to be off to get the rod out. I would guess 40 to 60 hrs with clean up.

Instead of quoting you the hours for the job, I will tell you what you don't want to but will eventually find out.
If it needs a connecting rod and crankshaft it already has enough metal floating around inside that anything short of removing for a complete tear down and cleaning will likely be a waste of time.
You can price out a rebuild but done properly it will be more than the tractor is worth.
You could try checking around wreckers for a used engine or look for a parts machine that has a good engine.
