We bought a new washer little over a year ago. Had the service guys out here couple of times. Replaced machine with a new one still had problems. None could fix the problem. Keeps showing a low water pressure fault and turns the machine off during the rinse cycle.
I put in a hose pressure gauge by machine. When the guys blamed it on low water pressure I showed them the gauge.
The hose has 40psi of pressure minimum but over time the cold water entering the machine goes to a trickle.
Hot water works perfect. Problem is only on the cold side.
Come to find out its sand from my well plugging up the parts in the machine.
I have a cheep whole house water filter because I get some rust every now and then.

But this sand is so fine it is getting past the 5 micron whole house water filter.
It never clogs the screen in my sink faucet.
So now I am on the fence to believe this whole house filter is no good and I need a better one
Or do I just add a better filter in the washer line.
I want my old machine back. It worked perfect with my water.
