This is a cheap set I bought when our local fire company had w tool sale many years ago. Some Company from down south did the sale from s tractor trailer they brought to the firehouse. It worked good for me today.I have had the set around 20 years or so.

I got one of those cheap 3/4" drive sets back in the '80s when I got into auto mechanics. I told myself I would upgrade to a Craftsman or something even better if I needed them much. So far I have replaced the ratchet, two of the sockets and one of the extensions.

The ratchet failed when I used the 6 or 7 ft. pipe on it. The ball fell out of the extension, one socket came up missing and the other came back split when I loaned it out and was put on a 3/4 impact wrench.

So I guess they've held up well considering.

Ah yes the Cummins tool guy, came around maybe once a year to some parking lot and sold tools out of a semi trailer. There was another that did it also, but can't think of the name! They sent out ads a week or so before they came, haven't seen them around for many years.

at least yours have the nice soft handles, mine have some rough steel I been going to hit with the 4" grinder for the past 15 or so years.
