What is it?

Found these at our local threshing show site. I assume the pump with the handle is a tire pump? The round tank with the hoses looks like some sort of a brake bleeder? It has Wagner stamped on the top. How does it work?

Wagner make paint guns and spray equipment . The canister looks like a pressure pot used in the spraying of heavier materials .

Yes, the round canister is a brake bleeder. Wagner also, or used to make brake system repair and overhaul parts. I've used a couple of those brake bleeder contraptions.

The other thing is a tire pump, or football, basketball, etc.

Used a Brake Bleeder almost identical to that one when I worked in the Mines. You don't have to keep refilling the Master Cylinder every few
minutes - AND - you don't need a second person to keep pumping the brake pedal. Great tool to have.

The tank is a brake pressure bleeder, you unscrew the top gauge of the tank and add brake fluid. The tank has a bladder in it. There should be a tire valve like fitting on the bottom half of the tank. Loosen the valve to discharge the air so the bladder relaxes so you can add the brake fluid. Next you reinstall the gauge on top of tank. Close the tire valve on bottom half of tank and add air pressure (about 5 psi) now open the little bleeder on gauge to bleed air out of brake fluid. Next you install the correct adapter to your master cylinder, connect the quick coupler on the hose to the adapter on the master cylinder open the valve on the hose to allow fluid to flow to master cylinder. Add air to tire valve on bottom half of tank to( about 15 psi) should be a green zone on gauge. Now you open the brake bleeder on vehicle till you get all fluid, do this for all wheels. When done bleeding close valve on hose, release air pressure on bottom of tank disconnect quick coupling and remove master cylinder adapter. Hope this helps

The canister is definitely a brake bleeder, I have one & I've used it alot! There are several adapters for different systems
including industrial equipment!

Thanks for the quick replies. The brake bleeder does have the little tire valve stem on one side toward the bottom, connected to a hose that goes to the bottom of the tank. This one has obviously not been stored in a good dry place but it is interesting nonetheless.
