Breaker bar

In my tool collection I have a 3/8" breaker bar that is not quite 10" long, nice knurling on the handle, and the yoke has a spring loaded ball to keep the drive head rigid at 90* in either direction or straight forward. It also has a 1/4" hole in the handle to place a rod for "additional leverage" that leads a person to believe this is an older piece from the 50's or earlier. The only markings on this piece is the number "2781" and "made in U.S.A."

On the handle end is a second 3/8" drive lug that also has the spring loaded ball to retain a socket. Has any one seen a breaker bar like this with 2 drive lugs and what would be the purpose for the second lug?
 
Believe breaker bars under the Indestro name had that number on them. Guessing the second drive lug was to use as a "speed wrench" of sorts to take fasteners in or out quickly.
 
I think that's called a "spark plug ratchet". Several manufacturers made them back in the seventies. They don't seem to be so common today, probably because nobody changes spark plugs anymore.
 
I have one that is the traditional breaker bar but on the other end it has a 3/8" female square so you can use it as an extension IIRC it's a plomb
 
A quick search on the "Alloy-Artifacts" web site confirms that this breaker bar is probably an Indestro. They have some pictures of 1/2" drive units that are exactly like the one I have. They claim the second drive lug would be for use with a female drive ratchet, still common in the 1930's.

It's not very often you see Plumb/plomb tools.I have 2 socket sets that were my dad's. A 1/4" drive and a 1/2" drive.
