handy workbench

the tailgate of the truck is a handy workbench,We live 1/4 mile from the river,A friend who likes to fish dropped off some trout yesterday. The best place I found to clean them is on the tailgate . Streacht out the hose and parked in the driveway.

I put 4 in the freezer and ate two for supper

I consider my tailgate to be a protable self cleaning workbench. Lift the gate and it
cleans itself. Wish all my workbenches were self cleaning, save me some time.

BIL's florida winter home has a double boat dock with lifts and a sink with running
water to clean his fish. He has put a pant load of money in his dock, over $75k. Last
I heard, he screaned in the dock to keep the birds and insects out. Electric garage
like openers for boats to get in and and another one that opens up a large area for
fishing. That will be the first one on the lake with electric screen openers.

I could go to Red Lobster and get more fish than I could eat for all the money he has
in dock alone, not to mention the boats.

What kind of fish did you catch?

I use my tailgate to rebuild starters on and all kinds of other projects,just the right height and there are round indentations for coffee
cups that are perfect to set your small parts in. Like someone said ,when you are done you close the gate and any debris falls to the ground

they were trout,,very tasty,easy to eat the bones lift right out after you cook the fish

Tail gate does comes in handy for a work bench and the deck of a hay wagon also comes in handy. You better wash that tailgate good or you will have every cat in the neighborhood following you around.

Workbench, yes, but don't use it as a sawhorse for sawing wood with a circular saw. Or so someone told
me.......
