Special hex key for Yamaha

I need an Allen wrench for a Yamaha Rhino door bolt. . It is close to .320 width, and must have a small hole in the middle. The bolt is an allen head female with a tiny pin in the middle. No doubt to keep DIY from removing. What is it called?

That's called a "tamper proof hex key", sounds like an 8mm or a 5/16" will work.

But that pin in the middle of the bolt, it is quite easy to just break it off with a small punch.

I looked at thst pin. Thought a tint end mill might set it free LOL I'll try my smallest cold chisel.

those are called "tamper resistant hex"

There is a tamper resistant torx as well, but from the sound of it you have hex. Harbor freight carries a decent cheap set for occasional use. I'm sure you could find a similar set on amazon or other online retailers.

I just clamped the proper wrench in the vise on the drill press and drilled a 5/32 hole in the short end of the allen wrench. Really soft metal and easy drill All good. Doors are on just in time for the 88 degree heat today.
Thanks for the help guys.
