I needed more strength to remove hydraulic connections, 9/16 and 11/16 open ends. Most of the fittings are in tight places. I tried all the usual tricks, using another wrench to make them longer, pipe extensions. Keep in mind, tight places and I only have two hands. So I made torque amplifiersn using high quality metal, cheap rusty recycled metal. What else would anyone expect?
I'm getting a little lazy too. If I can, I rebuild the hydraulic cylinder while it still on the tractor. Lately I'm having pin hold leaks develope in welds that are 15 years old. So I have no choice, have to remove cylinder. Even had a pin hole leak in axle of Jubelee, 63 years after it was made.
BTY, on the topic tool quality. Have craftsman tools, but here I'm using cheap HF tools. Yet to break them. Leave them on the amplifiers hanging next to other tools.
I even have sets of cheap HF tools on tractors. Never broke any, but have lost them.
