Square to round vent adapter?

I bought a used LP gas water heater with a powered vent and the transition piece from the blower to plastic pipe is missing. The blower has a rectangular opening about 2 3/4" x 2 1/2" and I need to get to 2" PVC. Did some checking on line and cant come up with anything. Would this be an OEM only part? or am I not looking in the right places?

You might find something in the rain gutter department, or possibly some french drain fitting might work. If you can just get it close, then wrap it with the aluminum (not cloth) duct tape.

Otherwise, you can have an adapter made from sheetmetal at a fab shop, if one is near you. But be prepared to spend $25-40 for it!

Have you tried calling the manufacture of the power vent and see if they have the part and where or who you could order it through.

The transition piece is probably made of PVC and was glued to the 2"exhaust so it was left when the furnace was taken out. The manufacturer is probably your best source.

Also check a good plumbing supply house. They have a lot of that stuff.
