You are going to need a motorized hydraulic jack, a cordless impact and a spare tire.

Larry,
There are many things I've bought and at the time really didn't know just how handy they would become. The terramite, cordless tools, dump trailer, kawasaki 4010 mule, electric generator to power electric chainsaw and the list goes on. It's like I buy them because I don't have one and then I find out I can't live without them.

I'm running out of things to buy. What do you have that you can't live without.

Cory,
I can see this post going sideways, talking about things you can't live without that
have nothing to do with tools. I guess I opened the door on this one. geo.

That's why I put it that way, to let it go sideways just on own thread.

Back to the topic while I'm typing anyway. I have used the loader or skid steer many time as a hoist, especially on the loader tractor(down pressure to lift the front wheels off the ground). Goes a lot easier then blocks and a 2by, or running around the farm to find the jack.

better yet,,things you want or need? But,,its good to want somethings, keeps You dreaming///lol If you could buy anything you wish for,,you would get bored.Sort ot like Donald or the other lady, could buy,or go anywheres,,but its no thrill to them,Got to run for pres. to get a thrill,I know what Im trying to say,,hope it sounds right typing it..

I got a flat tire on brand new tire on a little Kubota tractor. Unfortunately the hole was on the sidewall. I practically begged the tire guy to try a patch on the sidewall of the tire since the tractor was so light. Still the guy wouldn't do it. He said he would be liable if I was driving at freeway speed and the patch failed. This is from the best tire guy in my town. Now I'm using the tractor with four plugs in the hole. It lasts about six months and I have to do it again. I've tried to remove the tire from the rim myself but I can't get it off.

I patched the sidewall of a front tire on our 1855 a few years ago, still holding just fine. It was a cut about an inch or so long, pinched the tube and the whole works went flat.

I just found a tube that we had in the shop that looks like it had a very similar demise, oso I patched it and it's still holding air a week later. Still need a tire to put it in...

Larry, I don't have a bucket list of wants. If I get an idea I either build it or buy it. If it weren't for things breaking I would be bored. Lately I feel like a fireman putting out more than one fire at a time

What's in your bucket?
George

don,
The crazy thing is these are new tires with tubes, 8 ply. One of the new tubes was
damaged by the installer, so they patched it. Now the area where the patched it ripped
a big hole.

No way do I have the strength or the tools to remove a 6 inch wide tire 8 ply tire to
repair it. Took it to a tire shop located in the middle of corn fields in Indiana,
that work on farm equipment in the field if you call them. They removed the tube, made
it tub-less and slimmed it. The employee at the tire shop said, slime is like shooting
themselves in the foot. They slime a tire and them they never have to fix it again.
Less repair work for tire shop.
