I've tried many knee pads. They all cut into the back of my knee. There is a foam pad for gardeners, but you have to pick it up and move it each time, PBIA. Duluth makes a pocket in the knees of their bibs to slide a knee pad in and velcro prevent them from falling out. Nothing is perfect, but these come close. Used them to do some deck work.

Are there other pants on the market with pockets for knee pads?

I've had many pair of knee pads. Go to sears. They have a pair with very deep knee sockets. One valcro strap per pad. They are nice. All other knee pads I've tried aren't worth buying.

When I buy a new pair of bibs, they go in the washing machine. After that to local dressmaker. She sews pockets for kneepads INSIDE each leg, and hems/sews the legs to proper length. I make pads from hi density foam I get from Menards that are interlocking mats.

Well I suppose knee pads are nice but how do you get back up on your feet after being down on your knees???

(quoted from post at 19:20:30 05/11/16) If you or your kids (if you have any) know any hockey players see if they have any shin guards they want to let go of. Of course the better the shin guards the better the knee protector. The better ones have material in the knee section that makes the knee float on air and never hits the ground.
