Anyone ever get aggravated changing blades in a retractable utility knife?I know I have especially when all the parts fall out,and fighting to get the little screw back in and together right.I got one of these a year or so ago and it is great!Just squeeze the handle and the blade will pop out, push the black button and the blade snaps back in.Changing blades in it is automatic, with the blade out just press the Little red button on the end and remove the old blade, hit the retract button and squeeze the handle and out pops a new blade. You can turn it over and put the old blade back in the magazine to use both cutting edges of the blade up. I found mine at believe or not at TSC,don't know why they would have new just released Snapon tools in their mumbo jumbo tool display box up by the checkout for like $5,wish I would have bought a couple more.

I've had a couple of identical ones for several years, only they don't say "Snap On" on them. Probably cost half of what the ones branded "Snap On".

You're right, they are handy.

Den N,

Seems to have too many points of failure for me. I've got the locked in position blade, which suits me fine. I do NOT want the blade to give when I am cutting something. The side screw that used to give me fits was replaced with a hardened screw and slotted with a hacksaw.
