three bolts hold the motor on the pressure washer, I took it off the frame

This old tiller I was trying to get going, but I dont want to spend money on the parts I need for it .I took the motor off to see if the motor from the pressure washer would fit,,but it doesnt fit.

Not only did mice make a nest in the motor, but where the belt is too, under the motor. The belt looks shot too.I decided to white flag the old tiller, the handle has been welded many times, and its not worth spending money for parts on it. If my friend Jim wants it for parts he can have it.,or its gonna go good by,,,lol The 6 hp motor from the pressure washer does run good too bad it didnt fit

Larry,

I have that same tiller that you have. I bought it at Sears and Roebuck in the late 1970s. I have used to it hard for many years, but I quit gardening a couple of years ago, so I haven't even tried to start the engine since then. Too bad we live so far away from each other, I'd love to give it to someone who could use it. "It ran when parked".

I have one of those compressors I am compressor poor and never needed it so held on to it for a back up if needed.

I put a 2HP motor on it and had a drive pulley made thats 2X larger than the original it will get'er done.... I had to replace the head gasket it was blown when I got it, I found a gasket local (complete gasket kit) the guy gave it to me to get it out of his inventory.

I brought one for a friend for $25 in great condition he did not like it because his wife said it scared her horses. No problem I sold it fast and made a $100...

I have an electric pressure washer
someone gave me that froze and cracked
the pump. I took the pump apart and
brazed it and it worked, it hardly
leaks at all.
